The role of a Workshop Team Lead involves overseeing a highly skilled crew in performing assembly, maintenance, and repairs on construction equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the team to meet service expectations and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Driving a safety-first culture within the department by promoting safe work practices and enforcing regulations
- Liaising with technical support staff for diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work to ensure efficient utilization of resources
- Managing work schedules and daily activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime
- Liaising with stakeholders regarding machine performance, product quality, and warranty to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Relevant Australian trade qualifications (heavy diesel or mobile plant) are essential for this role
- Earthmoving equipment experience is required, with leadership experience in a comparable industry being desirable
- A safety-focused mindset and commitment to HCA's Safety Culture are crucial for success in this position
- Strong communication and customer service skills are necessary for building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Complex technical issue-solving skills are required for delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services
