Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Executive to join our Property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing new store opportunities, negotiating lease agreements, and managing landlord relationships to drive the growth and profitability of our store network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence on proposed new stores and existing sites to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and lease agreements with landlords to secure favorable deals that align with our business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords to ensure a smooth and efficient leasing process.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the General Manager - Property on progress and performance.
  • Liaise with the store operations team to ensure seamless integration of new stores into our network.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of new store openings and refurbishments.
  • Work closely with the legal department to ensure compliance with lease administration requirements.
  • Identify and manage occupancy costs to optimize store profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a property environment, specifically in retail leasing.
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and resolving problems to drive business growth.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with landlords and internal stakeholders.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
