About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health Team at Anglican Care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to our consumers across our Aged Care service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement holistic, individualized therapy plans in partnership with consumers and their carers/advocates.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify consumers' functional capacity, strengths, and lifestyle goals.
- Deliver a range of therapy services, including capacity building, restorative outcomes, and promoting healthy aging.
- Regularly review and evaluate allied health and therapy plans to ensure identified goals are achieved and quality of life and healthy aging are promoted.
- Stay up-to-date with contemporary physiotherapy techniques and healthcare issues, and ensure all clinical practice is in accordance with relevant legislative requirements, professional codes of ethics and conduct, and available evidence.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in Aged Care.
- Demonstrated excellence in assessment and delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy and restorative interventions.
- Understanding of case coordination and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Experience working with people who have dementia and their carers.
- Experience and commitment to working with quality and risk management systems.
- Capacity to provide education and hands-on learning in the workplace.
