
Coordinated Peer Support Programmes

- Establish and maintain relationships with a network of Peer Support Officers across Queensland, focusing on recruitment, selection, training, development, promotion, support and supervision.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver an integrated and evidence-based Peer Support Program, prioritising biopsychosocial approaches to health and wellbeing.
- Develop, implement and evaluate best-practice training and ongoing development programs for Peer Support Officers.
- Review and refine processes and policies for the coordination and delivery of the Peer Support Officer Program.
- Analyse trends in Peer Support Officer recruitment, calls for service, development and performance to inform programme delivery and identify areas of need.
- Manage professional case notes in line with relevant codes of ethics and Service Policy, ensuring secure storage compliance with Queensland legislation.
- Mandatory: Registration as a Psychologist, membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
- C Class drivers' licence and intrastate travel are essential requirements of this position.
