Enhance Cyber Security Operations

We are seeking a skilled OCS Cyber Security Technician to join our team and contribute to the safety and integrity of our systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of security technology, implementing technical controls and risk-based treatments that support our cyber security management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing technical security controls and changes for OCS operations.
  • Conducting reviews and endorsements of cyber security designs and configurations.
  • Maintaining the security of OCS assets and infrastructure.
  • Developing automation for monitoring and reporting cyber security incidents.
  • Collaborating with IT to ensure effective security across environments.
  • Performing threat assessments and analysing vulnerabilities in OT and IT networks.
  • Enhancing logging capabilities and reviewing the security of ICS and SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to evolving security standards and the ability to tackle new challenges effectively. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking, ensuring the security and integrity of our operational technology environments.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, cyber security or a related field.
  • 3+ years in the OT/ICS industry.
  • Experience in security roles within industrial organisations.
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST).
  • Proficient in system/network administration and automation.
  • Experience with SIEM tools and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and security infrastructure.
