Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

This role is crucial for the day-to-day execution of operational processes and ongoing governance of security within the organization. This includes compliance posture, measuring against controls, policies, and regulatory obligations within the Cyber Security domain.

This role involves a variety of business-as-usual (BAU) activities and assisting with innovative projects to uplift the organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

">

- Perform ongoing security monitoring for risk identification, capture, escalation, and reporting.
- Monitor and track ongoing remediation of audit and assessment findings with stakeholders.
- Provide first-line support for management of security incidents remediation of incidents that do not require escalation.
- Deliver ongoing security operational processes that contribute to the ongoing assurance and compliance with organizational defined policies and controls.

Requirements Include:

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or specific training/qualification in Information/Cyber Security discipline.
- Knowledge and appreciation for Cyber threats, risks, and related laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills to advise senior levels on security and compliance issues and solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise-wide security governance and compliance.
- Looking for someone who has a proactive attitude, can prioritize their workload/requests, and has great time management skills.
