Home Care Support Specialist

As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in enabling elderly individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Organize outings and transportation for customers, promoting social connections and engagement.
  • Offer domestic assistance, including cooking, cleaning, gardening, and pet care, to enhance the overall living experience.
  • Review care plans to understand customers' goals and needs, ensuring tailored support.
  • Utilize technology to track important information, identify potential hazards, and ensure customer safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in aged care, preferably holding a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • A friendly and respectful attitude, coupled with strong relationship-building skills, is essential for success in this role.
  • A current Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle are necessary, given the travel component of the job.
  • Ability to use a smartphone and assist customers with theirs is crucial for effective communication and support.
