Project Engineering Opportunity

The Job

We are seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to lead the design, delivery, and commissioning of rotating plant equipment.

This role involves reviewing and managing design packages from external design houses, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with performance standards.

  • Maintenance of project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion.
  • Overseeing the interface between multiple design and delivery partners, resolving issues and driving alignment.
  • Liaising with internal teams (construction, procurement, asset management) to facilitate successful project implementation.

A strong background in rotating equipment expertise is required, along with experience in engineering roles within energy, utilities, or heavy industry.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Mechanical preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in similar engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rotating plant (generators, turbines, motors, compressors, synchronous condensers).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
