Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage complex WAN and LAN environments, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions.


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying mixed protocol WANs and LANs using technologies like MPLS VPN, SD-WAN, SASE, IPsec VPN, Cloud WAN, and 5G WAN Edge. They will lead the implementation of new network communications technologies and manage network security policies to ensure infrastructure integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy mixed protocol WANs and LANs using various technologies
  • Lead the implementation of new network communications technologies
  • Manage network security policies and ensure infrastructure integrity
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support across networks and end-user computing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Patch, upgrade, and secure infrastructure in line with IT security policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure projects

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Infrastructure, Support, or Field Services Engineering
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and participate in out-of-hours work
