Network Infrastructure Expert Wanted

At Toll Group, we are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team.

This role involves designing and implementing complex WAN and LAN environments, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions.

  • Design and deploy mixed protocol WANs and LANs using technologies like MPLS VPN, SD-WAN, SASE, IPsec VPN, Cloud WAN, and 5G WAN Edge.
  • Lead the implementation of new network communications technologies.
  • Manage network security policies and ensure infrastructure integrity.
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support across networks and end-user computing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Patch, upgrade, and secure infrastructure in line with IT security policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation and participate in out-of-hours support and maintenance.
  • Provide onsite support and work cross-functionally to ensure customer and business needs are met.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure, Support, or Field Services Engineering.
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and participate in out-of-hours work.
