Job OverviewWe currently have openings for Registered Nurses in hospital contracts and local shifts in WA. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and a commitment to deliver compassionate patient care.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to work in a variety of specialisations, including regional contracts and local shifts. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent time management, and the ability to stay well-organized while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Provide emergency care to patients with acute medical conditions and injuries.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide timely and effective interventions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Current National Police Check
- Working With Children check or willingness to obtain
- 6 months of experience working in an Australian Health Setting
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Additional mandatory competencies/trainings depending on contract & role
