Network Infrastructure Director

As a Network Operations Manager, you will lead the performance, reliability and continuous improvement of our Network Operations Centre (NOC). This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking and people leadership.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure prompt incident resolution and effective communication during critical events.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare for future technologies and deliver top-notch network observability and tooling.
- Act as the key escalation point, champion root cause analysis and drive excellent service outcomes.
- Mentor team leads, inspire a culture of continuous improvement and manage resource planning and shift structures.
- Monitor KPIs, enforce compliance and lead operational reporting.
- A minimum of 5-7+ years' experience in NOC or network operations leadership, ideally in a carrier-grade or wholesale telco environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IP networking (BGP, MPLS, VPN), Cisco/Juniper infrastructure and tools like SolarWinds, PRTG and Zabbix.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL-aligned processes and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
