About the Role

This newly created IT Business Partner opportunity will partner with key stakeholders in our Finance Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in discerning business needs to identify appropriate technology solutions and collaborate closely with the broader technology team to deliver effective and innovative IT solutions for our communities.

  • Foster alignment between business objectives and technology solutions, serving as a liaison between business units and the IT department.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Engagement and Delivery to devise and implement IT strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, communicating IT initiatives and updates effectively.
  • Gather and document technology requirements, translating business needs into actionable plans for the IT team, and driving process efficiency supported by technology change.

About You

  • Proven track record in a Senior BA/ IT Business Partner or similar role.
  • Finance or accounting background (e.g., CPA, finance qualifications, or have worked in the field before transitioning to IT).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to discern and align technology solutions with business imperatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Extensive experience drawing end-to-end process maps, user journey, stakeholder mapping, change and communication plans.
  • Technical knowledge is favourable.
  • Willing to get hands-on when required as this is a lean team.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise focused on delivering tangible value and outcomes.
