Job Title: Engineering Project SpecialistAt our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Specialist to join our team. As an Engineering Project Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of construction projects.Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively to prevent costly surprises.
  • Assess claims, track costs, manage supporting documentation, and maintain clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Review and support tender packages, assist with BOQs and estimates, and prepare technical and financial reports.
  • Work closely with contractors, clients, councils, and colleagues to translate technical updates into clear action steps.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • A background in engineering or a related field, preferably with experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information clearly.
  • Experience with basic programs like Excel and a willingness to develop commercial acumen.
  • METHODICAL, LOGICAL, AND DETAIL-ORIENTED WITH A DRIVE TO JUMP IN AND SOLVE PROBLEMS ON THE SPOT.
