About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to support our client's monthly supply planning process.

  • Facilitate regular meetings with site teams to discuss production schedules and demand forecasts.
  • Capture and review schedule adherence, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Operations team regarding demand and production queries.
  • Develop and implement robust production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Analyse demand data to inform capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Liaise closely with manufacturing teams and purchasing department on production planning issues.
  • Monitor potential shortages and develop corrective action plans.
  • Ensure accurate data is maintained in ERP systems to drive MRP processes correctly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production bottlenecks.
  • Provide regular updates on work-in-progress and material availability to management.
  • Release work orders into production lines, ensuring timely completion.
  • Respond promptly to requests for product availability and lead times.
  • Contribute to the development of new products, ensuring smooth launch processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced planning environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to challenge current processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Independent problem resolution and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
