Job Summary: Seeking a Watchroom Operator for Fire and Rescue operations at Kapooka, Victoria.

This role offers a career as a Watch Room operator in the Emergency Services industry or the first step into a career as a Firefighter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain operational readiness in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  • Respond to fire incidents, support and communicate with the Incident Controller as required.
  • Assist the Station Officer with administrative duties related to operations.
  • Participate in station training and development plans.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Hold one of the following qualifications: PUAFIR210, PUAFIR215, PUAFIR201B, PUAOPE013, PUAOPE013A, PUATEA001, PUATEA001B, PUACOM001, PUACOM001C, PUATEA002, PUATEA002B.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a communications room environment.
