Job Title: Asset Manager

This role involves overseeing the management of assets within an organization. The Asset Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all assets are properly maintained, used efficiently, and disposed of when no longer needed.

The company we are working with is a leading national organisation providing facility management services including daily maintenance, cleaning, transport, power supply, grounds, minor works, refurbishments and so on for a critical public sector client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict compliance and governance
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities
  • Review maintenance activities regularly to identify areas for improvement
  • Undertake regular reviews of asset registers to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Provide regular reports on asset management performance
  • Closing the gap of non-compliant items
  • Manage variations to include assets, PPM & locations
  • Improve asset performance and risk management
  • Conduct audit programs for the collection of asset data

Requirements:

  • Must be strong in Asset Management Plans and Life Cycle Planning
  • Ideal candidate should have a trade or tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Building, Construction, Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience working in Facilities Management, Building Services or M&E Maintenance industry supporting commercial clients - Education, Defence, Health, Resorts, Camp or Government premises
  • Understanding of ISO55001
  • Professional and engaging manner and high level customer service approach
  • Strong Microsoft skills in Word and Excel
  • Experienced in CMMS
