**Community Engagement Specialist**

We're seeking a skilled and passionate professional to join our program, assisting social housing tenants improve services across NSW.

The successful candidate will build relationships with local tenants to address challenges, facilitate volunteering opportunities, and coordinate training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish connections with local tenants to identify challenges and opportunities
  • Map current tenant participation groups and identify gaps and opportunities
  • Facilitate volunteering opportunities within the community and coordinate training sessions
  • Engage isolated or hard-to-reach tenants to overcome barriers to engagement
  • Maintain formal and informal relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements for Success:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in community services, development, health, or related fields
  • Experience in community development
  • Background in working with homelessness, social housing, or youth work (preferably)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office systems
  • Current driver's license
  • Covid 19 vaccination evidence
