The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a full-time Procurement Business Sourcing Expert to provide support to RWWA in delivering procurement solutions. The role involves providing excellent customer service to key business units, conducting meetings with stakeholders, and conducting procurement and contract management activities in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks.

  • Providing exceptional customer service to key business units.
  • Conducting meetings with stakeholders at all levels of assigned business units.
  • Conducting procurement and contract management activities in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks.
  • Assisting business units with scoping activities to drive specified outcomes.
  • Assisting business units develop requests for quote/tender and expressions of interest programs.
  • Assisting business units in sourcing necessary goods and services.
  • Assisting business units with purchasing-related tasks from government common use agreements, standing offer agreements, and panel contracts or the private sector when required.
  • Conducting market research to locate, evaluate, and engage suitable suppliers or contractors on behalf of RWWA.
  • Conducting various request for proposal (RFP) programs when required in accordance with RWWA policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining internal contract management and document control systems up to date along with RWWA's tender portal on Tenders WA.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Collaborating with the Team Leader and Manager to ensure procurement activities are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking tasks as directed by the Team Leader and Manager as required.
  • Acting ethically and professionally at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in business administration, procurement, contract management, or a relevant area (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in legal, governance, or ICT fields (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite and CMS.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a team or independently.
  • Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide strategies and advice to solve issues.
