Job Description The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Procurement Business Partner on a full-time employment basis.
The role will consist of providing support to RWWA to deliver cost effective, compliant and sustainably sourced procurement solutions.
You will be responsible for: Providing excellent customer service to key business units.
Conducting meetings with key stakeholders at all levels of assigned business units.
Conducting Procurement & Contract Management Activities in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks.
Assisting business units with scoping activities in order to drive specified outcomes for the business.
Assisting business units develop Requests for Quote / Tender and Expressions of Interest programs.
Assisting business units in sourcing necessary goods and or services.
Assisting business units with purchasing related tasks from either Government Common Use Agreements (CUA's), Standing Offer of Agreements (SOA) and Panel Contracts– or the private sector where required.
Conducting market research to locate, evaluate and engage suitable suppliers or contractors on behalf of RWWA.
Conducting various RFX programs when required in accordance with RWWA policies and procedures.
Keeping internal Contract Management & Document Control Systems up to date along with RWWA's tender portal on Tenders WA.
Assisting with internal and external audits.
Working with Team Leader and Manager to ensure procurement activities are delivered in a timely manner.
Undertaking tasks as directed by Team Leader and Manager as required.
Acting ethically and professionally at all times.
Qualifications About You Ideally to be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Procurement, Contract Management, or relevant area (desirable but not mandatory).
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience in Legal, Governance or ICT field (Desirable but not mandatory).
Understanding of procurement processes, policies, systems.
Proficient computer skills including MS Office suite and CMS.
Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time efficiently.
Comfortable working in a team or by oneself.
Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to analyse problems and provide strategies and advice to solve issues.
