Quality Assurance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor – Raw Materials to join our Ballarat team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the day-to-day Food Safety and Quality operations of our Pizza & Dinner plants.
As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely release and disposition of raw materials, verifying that raw materials meet specifications and supplier Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and raising Prepared Foods Plant Interim specifications as required.
You will also be responsible for the traceability of raw materials within and post the manufacturing facility, documenting and reporting any non-conforming raw materials and packaging, and creating and updating necessary procedures, work instructions, forms, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to raw materials.
Additionally, you will prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, addressing any corrective actions required, and assist manufacturing with Quality and Food Safety issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
About YouWe are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills, who is self-motivated and able to work independently. You will have excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt to a changing manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Safety principles and practices is essential, and previous Food Manufacturing Food Safety & Quality experience is desirable. Food Science Tertiary Qualifications are also desirable.
