Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the administration of the University's Quality Framework. This includes internal and external quality audits and reviews.
You will:
- provide timely and accurate advice to staff about the University's Quality Framework;
- monitor changes to vocational education and tertiary quality regulatory and compliance requirements;
- coordinate and administer processes and practices to meet regulatory quality requirements;
- develop and deliver training programs on the University's Quality Framework; and
- maintain current knowledge and understanding of vocational, tertiary and international quality regulatory and compliance requirements, including legislation.

About You
You will possess:
- an understanding of quality management and quality assurance theory and practice as a basis for organisational improvement, particularly in tertiary education;
- the ability to develop an understanding of legislation, government policy and compliance issues relevant to a multi-sector university;
- analytical ability and the ability to conduct research, interpret and understand International, Higher Education and VET regulatory requirements;
- expertise in interpreting policies, procedures and regulations and providing advice to stakeholders; and
- communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
