About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the administration of the University's Quality Framework. This includes internal and external quality audits and reviews.

You will:

  • provide timely and accurate advice to staff about the University's Quality Framework;
  • monitor changes to vocational education and tertiary quality regulatory and compliance requirements;
  • coordinate and administer processes and practices to meet regulatory quality requirements;
  • develop and deliver training programs on the University's Quality Framework; and
  • maintain current knowledge and understanding of vocational, tertiary and international quality regulatory and compliance requirements, including legislation.

About You

You will possess:

  • an understanding of quality management and quality assurance theory and practice as a basis for organisational improvement, particularly in tertiary education;
  • the ability to develop an understanding of legislation, government policy and compliance issues relevant to a multi-sector university;
  • analytical ability and the ability to conduct research, interpret and understand International, Higher Education and VET regulatory requirements;
  • expertise in interpreting policies, procedures and regulations and providing advice to stakeholders; and
  • communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
