About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Employees and Domestic Assistants in the Glen Innes area.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable people in our community. As a Home Care Employee and Domestic Assistant, you will have the chance to work in a varied and flexible role, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and domestic support to clients in their own homes
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Support clients with their daily routines and activities
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Essential Skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate empathy and a caring approach
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
    • Ability to plan and organize tasks efficiently
    • Competent in the use of technology, including smartphones and tablets
    • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
  • Qualifications
    • Qualified Home Care Employee - Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
    • Domestic Assistant roles available for those currently studying or passionate about supporting the elderly
    • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
    • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
