Aged Care Support Assistant

Deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently and remain within their own homes:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime, and medication prompting
  • Help at Home: Cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing
  • Transport: Transportation to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Client Awareness: Social interaction, client observations, ongoing training, and support

About the Role:

  • Support Workers needed for the provision of Personal Support Services
  • Permanent Part-Time contracts available with an hourly rate of $32.56 + 11.5% super
  • Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time
  • Location: Glen Innes, NSW, and surrounding suburbs

Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • Fully vaccinated minimum 2 doses for Covid-19
  • Flexibility to work rosters between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Minimum 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support

  • Disability Support Worker
  • Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
  • Community Services worker
  • Bachelor of Nursing Students
