About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced vehicle dismantler to lead the safe and efficient disassembly of heavy vehicles, with a focus on salvaging parts for reuse or recycling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to safely and efficiently disassemble vehicles
- Identify and separate usable components from vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and mechanical parts
- Conduct inventory management of salvaged parts and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment
- Foster adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a vehicle dismantler or in a related field (preferably)
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with strong attention to detail
- Possess the physical ability to lift up to 25kgs. and stand for extended periods
- Hold a valid forklift license
- Experience operating excavators is highly desirable
