Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our skilled Installations team. The successful candidate will perform modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Performing modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders">
  • Assembly and disassembly of vehicle loading cranes and hookloaders">
  • Assembly of RHS subframes in line with engineering specifications">
  • Assisting other workshop installation fitters with new crane or hookloader installs">
  • Completion of all quality and process control documentation">
  • Installation of ancillary electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components associated with pre delivery inspections or installations">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Prior experience working in a similar industry">
  • Hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent">
  • Experience working on heavy vehicles">
  • Experience with cranes and/or hook loaders is an advantage">
  • Ability to interpret drawings and procedures">
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely">
  • Good time management and work prioritisation skills">
  • Ability to work in a team">
  • Current Drivers licence, HR preferable">
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check">
