About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager to join our West Region Delivery Team, responsible for delivering design, construction, maintenance, and facility management services for Sydney Water's critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the traffic control teams to support construction delivery teams, ensuring compliance with established processes and high standards.
  • Manage and be responsible for our traffic control capability, including WHS management, cost, and time management in line with project budgets and timelines.
  • Commercially manage traffic control subcontractors and suppliers, fostering good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and client representatives.
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans, utilizing traffic control scheduling and design experience.
  • Lead and mentor the traffic control teams, building and fostering a positive work culture.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, with traffic control qualifications and licenses.
  • Experience in developing and implementing traffic management plans, with traffic control scheduling and design experience preferred.
  • General Construction Induction (White Card), Drivers Licence, and First aid qualifications.
  • Workforce Planning experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of traffic control regulations and alignment with our shared values of Respect, Energy, Attitude & Leadership.
