Electrical Drafter Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an experienced electrical drafter within a skilled team dedicated to delivering smart and sustainable design solutions for various sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and models using Revit, while collaborating closely with engineers and other discipline drafters to ensure accuracy and integration across services.

  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of Revit models, drawing sheets, and standard templates
  • Implement drafting and modeling standards to ensure consistency across projects
  • Work collaboratively with clients, architects, and other consultants during the design process

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years' experience in electrical drafting for building services
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP – essential
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems within building design (e.g. lighting, power, comms, security)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation quality
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant qualifications in drafting, engineering, or design technology
