Job Description
This role plays a key part in the construction and commissioning of electrical systems on a large-scale LNG project. You will ensure all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and Australian regulations while providing technical support to site teams.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical installations.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and field engineering queries.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and progress records.
- Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in field engineering, ideally on large-scale industrial or LNG projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote site environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Full Australian working rights.
