We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to join our team and work on various projects across Australia.

  • This role involves leading and managing electrical commissioning activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Supervising a team of technicians and ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Preparing and reviewing commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Conducting pre-commissioning checks, functional tests, and start-up activities for electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and provide feedback for design improvements.
  • Reviewing and approving test reports, commissioning documentation, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Providing progress updates and highlighting potential risks or delays.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An electrical trade qualification or Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering and a valid white card.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in solar farm or large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of technicians and subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing equipment, and commissioning procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using commissioning software and tools.
