Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Accountant to join our team.

Job Description

A financial accounting role at a reputable organization, requiring skills in financial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, conducting tax return preparations, and preparing business financial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client accounts by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct tax return preparations and planning scenarios by researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Prepare business financial accounts by recording and classifying financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Financial Accounting: Develop and implement financial accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Taxation: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts that meet the needs of management and stakeholders.
  • Accounting Software: Proficient in accounting software such as Xpm and Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Certifications: Relevant accounting certifications or qualifications.
