Job Summary: We are seeking a permanent Diploma Qualified Educational Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, experience with programming, planning, and implementation of experiences, as well as leadership qualities such as mentoring and guiding educators in best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to promote best practice and support the implementation of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of children and families.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to educators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Education and Care.
  • DCSI clearance.
  • RAN certification.
  • First Aid with Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
  • Experience in leadership and management.
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.

Work Environment: Our service is a 114 place centre with 4 rooms and an occupancy of over 80 children per day. The environment can be fast-paced at times as we provide care to more than 295 children from our local community.
