Learning Enhancement Specialist

Deliver high-quality learning and teaching goals for Learning Enhancement by working with other leaders to enable personalised and differentiated pathways for students with specific learning requirements.

  • Developing and reviewing modifications and adjustments that students require;
  • Coordinating applications for exam provisions, both internal and external;
  • Mentoring and coaching teachers on differentiation within the classroom;
  • Leading a small team of teachers who specialise in this area;
  • Coordinating all aspects of individual educational plans, including accurate registration of data for NCCD;
  • Recording student and parent conferences (SSG's).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for special education and student wellbeing;
  • Exemplary abilities in differentiated instruction, effective pedagogical teaching, and assessment strategies;
  • Recent experience in the area of learning enhancement;
  • Qualifications in the area of learning enhancement;
  • A proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment;
  • Current Teacher registration with VIT.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing tailored support plans for students, providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues, and contributing to the development of school-wide policies and procedures related to learning enhancement.

Reporting to the Principal, you will work closely with colleagues across the school to ensure seamless integration of support services and maximise outcomes for students.
