Learning Enhancement Teachers — EducationHQ

Contract part-time role at Toorak College (Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia). This role will support the School's Learning Enhancement program and related initiatives; it will appeal to professionals with a passion for improving student learning.

Location: Mount Eliza VIC, Australia

Type: Part-Time

Status: Contract

Responsibilities
  • Support and provide enrichment opportunities to students to help them reach their potential in learning (Prep to Year 6 for Junior School).
  • Support teachers and foster academic growth in identified students across Years 7 to 12 (Senior School), working within a team of specialists.
  • Assist in providing learning enhancement interventions and contribute to developing Individual Education Plans as appropriate.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated effective work practices and professional expertise in the learning enhancement field, including support and extension.
  • Extensive knowledge of a wide range of special education assessment instruments.
  • Proven ability in learning enhancement techniques in literacy and numeracy; ability to write and review Individual Education Plans.
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications, training, and experience in the assessment and delivery of interventions in student learning.
