Job Summary

The Sydney Opera House is seeking a skilled Production Support Supervisor to lead the Production Support Logistics team in providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of live theatre and entertainment industry practices, as well as experience in rostering staff and managing logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Production Support Logistics team in delivering high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective rostering strategies to meet resourcing requirements.
  • Manage logistics, including equipment management, warehousing, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS responsibilities and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive skills and experience in live theatre and entertainment industry practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in rostering staff and managing logistics.
  • Knowledge of information technology systems and processes.
  • MR class driver's license and forklift driver's license highly desirable.
  • Electrical test and tag competency highly desirable.
  • High-level supervisory skills and good communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
