We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Hervey Bay. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their chosen community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including showering, dressing, and continence care;
- Assist clients with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation, and other light housework;
- Transport clients to appointments and undertake personal shopping;
- Assist with medication management;
- Support clients in developing a consumer-driven care plan.
You will be a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients will be essential in ensuring they feel supported and cared for.
You will need to possess a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent, as well as current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates. A current driver's licence and willingness to use your own comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes are also required.
