This critical position demands a talented individual with extensive operations management experience in the freight forwarding industry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of operations professionals to achieve operational excellence
  • Streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
  • Expertly managing import and export sea operations using CargoWise software
  • Providing valuable guidance and support for tender preparation and quotations
  • Maintaining accurate shipment status reports and proactively resolving any issues that may arise
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and agents
  • Supporting sales and management teams to drive business growth and success
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operations management within the freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of optimizing operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in using CargoWise software
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
