We are seeking a highly skilled Industry Affairs Manager to join our team at Meat & Livestock Australia Limited. As a key member of our Industry Affairs team, you will play a critical role in building connections between our R&D insights and market intelligence with industry stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, stakeholder management skills, and strategic insights into key issues impacting the red meat and livestock industry. You will be responsible for developing and presenting a workplan in consultation with key stakeholders, delivering valued services such as crisis response training and media training, and creating value for external stakeholder bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build connections between MLA's R&D insights and market intelligence with industry stakeholders
  • Provide stakeholder management and strategic insights to support the development of industry policies and programs
  • Develop and present workplans to key stakeholders, outlining key objectives and deliverables
  • Deliver valued services such as crisis response training and media training to industry stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for industry engagement and development
