About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Architect to join our team at Zurich Insurance Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions that drive business value and improve customer experiences.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Low-Code/No-Code software, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing automated solutions using various technologies
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation
  • Leading project planning, scope definition, and delivery of automation projects
  • Establishing testing protocols and ensuring quality acceptance criteria are met
  • Working in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, and managing opportunities and risks

You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and project managers. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively collaborate and influence others to achieve business outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in automation, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and identify creative solutions
  • Multiple years of experience in solution design and continuous improvement, change management, or project management
  • Confidence to take a lead role in workshops and meetings to drive outcomes
  • Self-directed, with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code software, cloud computing, and AI technologies
