Job Overview

  • The Emergency Response and Security Specialist role involves managing, implementing, and enhancing business resilience in emergency management, continuity planning, and security across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining emergency response plans with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinating emergency scenarios and exercises aligned with site-specific risks and engaging with internal and external partners.
  • Supporting sites in emergency response team preparedness and readiness.
  • Liaising with Origin's Generation Emergency Management Team for training, reviews, procedure updates, and facility readiness.
  • Managing bushfire/cyclone management plans and collaborating with the training & competency team to develop electronic training modules.

Business Continuity and Security:

  • Maintaining and updating business impact and continuity plans.
  • Developing and implementing business continuity plan exercises in line with Origin Directives.
  • Overseeing security plans with key stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
