Job Title:

The Role of a Senior Planner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Planner to join our organization. The successful candidate will be accountable for developing high-level planning baselines and detailed activity scheduling, in accordance with established frameworks.

The Opportunity:

  • Accountable for the development of high-level schedules and project baselines to support operational capacity planning and program delivery planning.
  • Accountable to develop detailed project and activity schedules for each team delivering products within contracts.
  • Accountable for managing all scheduling to ensure consistency and maintaining accurate reliable schedules.
  • Accountable for developing Earned Value Management reporting and variance controls in conjunction with cost controllers and sustainment managers.
  • Accountable to continually improve the effectiveness of the scheduling and reporting system, interacting with internal and external stakeholders regularly to ensure the system continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 10 years of experience, with 5 years in a Leadership role, in marine, complex manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Minimum certificate 101, 102 Primavera training / or relevant experience working in a Primavera scheduling role.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Results orientated, pursues improvements and outcomes while maintaining risk awareness.
