Job Title:
Logistics Support SpecialistThe Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of maritime systems throughout their lifecycle. This includes supply chain management, maintenance, and technical data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis, level of repair analysis (LORA), and life cycle cost (LCC) modelling to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) studies to optimize system performance.
- Support the acquisition and sustainment of maritime systems through effective supply chain management, maintenance planning, and technical data management.
- Develop and review technical documentation, reports, and maintenance plans to ensure compliance with Defence and naval standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ILS solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in ILS engineering, preferably within the Defence maritime sector.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with proficiency in configuration management tools.
- Experience developing and reviewing technical documentation, reports, and maintenance plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline Clearance minimum).
