As a healthcare professional, you will be responsible for delivering expert patient care to individuals aged 65 and above with various mental health and physical conditions.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires you to support the overall function of the unit through role modelling and application of contemporary evidence-based practice principles.

You will work closely with registered nurses and other non-registered nursing personnel in complex situations and provide education, leadership, and portfolio management skills.

  • Apply advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality patient-centred care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Respond appropriately to sudden changes in patient health status using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
  • Provide teaching to patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable independence.
  • Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
