Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waste Management Specialist to manage operations, operate equipment, and perform maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves ensuring trucks comply with traffic management plans, operating telehandlers efficiently and safely, and conducting general yard and shed maintenance.

About the Job
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and protocols
  • Operate heavy machinery, including telehandlers, to move materials and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent breakdowns
  • Assist in supervising contractors on-site during their work activities
  • Support waste disposal operations and loading processes as required
  • Complete daily equipment checks and necessary paperwork
Requirements
  • Experience in the waste or related industry is highly desirable
  • Forklift license or loader certification would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
