Job Title: Senior Medical Specialist or Medical Specialist (Cardiologist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Specialist or Medical Specialist (Cardiologist) to join our team at The State Of Queensland. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients with cardiac conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiovascular diseases.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of our cardiac services, including the design and implementation of new programs and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff to ensure the development of their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Advanced medical degree in Cardiology or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiology, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
