Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist geriatric medicine services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director, Older Person, Subacute and Rehabilitation, to ensure the delivery of high-quality geriatric services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to geriatric medicine.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner in Queensland.
  • Postgraduate qualification in geriatric medicine or a related field.
  • Experience in geriatric medicine, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
