About the Role

This Senior Mechanical Engineer position involves working collaboratively with our sales team to deliver high-quality projects while having a say in specifications and selection of suppliers and subcontractors. You will be responsible for contributing to the success and growth of our Energy Solutions Team, assisting in internal training, and building relationships with various departments within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver Power Generators and BESS projects while working closely with the sales team.
  • Contribute to the specification and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist in internal training and develop professional development opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with various departments within the business, including sales, projects, and engineering teams.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An appropriate Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Proficiency in CAD and MS Office, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Experience in engineering management and project management.
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical systems, internal combustion engines, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • A strong interest in power generation, Engines, uninterrupted power supply systems, and battery energy storage systems.
  • The ability to develop and implement compliance within engineering processes.
  • Effective time management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian standards.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
