About the Role

This maternity leave position will commence in Term 4, 2024 and continue until December 31, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, promoting, supporting, and sustaining a dynamic learning culture that models and promotes evidence-based research for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership in planning and implementing contemporary learning and teaching practices.
  • Work collaboratively with College Leaders to design, implement, and review educational initiatives that support curriculum renewal, high-quality teaching methodologies, critical and creative thinking, and learning technologies.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a growth mindset and flexibility while promoting an innovative learning environment.
  • Support and role model the ethos and values of a Catholic College.
Requirements
  • A current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).
  • A successful record of teaching and leadership experience.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership competencies to successfully achieve Key Areas of Accountability.
  • Commitment to working in an innovative learning environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset and flexibility.
  • Willingness to support and role model the ethos and values of a Catholic College.
