About the RoleThis maternity leave position will commence in Term 4, 2024 and continue until December 31, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, promoting, supporting, and sustaining a dynamic learning culture that models and promotes evidence-based research for learning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership in planning and implementing contemporary learning and teaching practices.
- Work collaboratively with College Leaders to design, implement, and review educational initiatives that support curriculum renewal, high-quality teaching methodologies, critical and creative thinking, and learning technologies.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a growth mindset and flexibility while promoting an innovative learning environment.
- Support and role model the ethos and values of a Catholic College.
- A current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).
- A successful record of teaching and leadership experience.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership competencies to successfully achieve Key Areas of Accountability.
- Commitment to working in an innovative learning environment.
- Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset and flexibility.
- Willingness to support and role model the ethos and values of a Catholic College.
