Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Extended Care Assistant to join our team. As an Extended Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality person-centred care to residential and home-based aged care clients.

You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic outcomes and achieve the best care outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity related to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team inclusive of other ECAs, Hotel Services, Lifestyle, Nursing and other staff to achieve the best care outcomes.
  • Completing all documentation in an accurate and timely manner, and assisting with assessments and reviews as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent).
  • Experience in an Extended Care Assistant or Personal Care Worker role.
  • Ability to work across all shifts.
  • A current Police Check (not more than 12 months old).
