Retail Property Operations Manager

Optimize operational efficiency and property performance by proactively managing day-to-day operations and facilities of a retail and general properties portfolio across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of property management agreements to ensure service delivery meets requirements.
  • Manage presentation, day-to-day operations, and facilities, including security, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and review monthly operating expenditure against budgets for each asset to optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Centre Managers to produce client reports as required, providing valuable insights into property performance.
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance is executed in accordance with schedules to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role with a strong background in compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to build trust and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent financial literacy and IT skills to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders, from centre managers to clients and suppliers.
